Software Placement Group, SPG is seeking a Primary Care/Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join its inpatient care team in Anchorage, AK. The role offers a flexible 7on/7off schedule and on-site work, with autonomy in managing patient care alongside a multidisciplinary group.

You will perform initial assessments, coordinate discharge planning, and collaborate with psychiatrists and therapists to address medical and behavioral health needs in complex patients.

Qualifications

• Active Alaska NP/APRN license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• AANPCB Board Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of post-training experience in an inpatient or acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including initial H&Ps within 24 hours of admission.
• Perform follow-up evaluations and coordinate discharge planning.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to build integrated treatment plans addressing medical and mental health needs.
• Co-manage patients with complex medical comorbidities alongside mental health providers.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Provide medical consults and recommend diagnostic tests and treatments as needed.
• Deliver emergency care within licensure scope until specialized care is available.

A behavioral health hospital in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Primary Care/Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join its inpatient care team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver holistic, patient-centered care to individuals with complex medical and mental health needs, working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, on-site in Anchorage, AK.
