Bay Pines VA Medical Center in Florida is seeking a physician to serve as Float Section Chief of Primary Care. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, overseeing coverage across sites, and ensuring continuous, high-quality care for veterans.

You will coordinate education of staff, develop protocols, and participate in process improvements while maintaining eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).

Formación

• US citizenship and VA qualifying status as required.
• MD degree from an school approved by VA for the year of study.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US or territory.
• Residency training approved by VA/ACGME or AOA with board eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee clinical operations and provider coverage across Bay Pines Primary Care sites.
• Lead and coordinate education of clinical staff including physicians and NPs/PAs.
• Develop and review protocols, order sets, and clinical reminders; improve care processes.
• Collaborate with administrative teams to ensure timely, high-quality veterans care.
