Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs) for temporary contract opportunities at outpatient clinic locations in New Jersey. Both part-time and full-time, in-person positions are available.

You will perform patient assessments, administer medications and vaccines, conduct phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, and document care in an EMR.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN or LPN/LVN license in the state where the position is located.
• Minimum of one year of related healthcare experience.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing.
• Proficiency with EMR systems; Epic experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Verifiable high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work the schedule required by the assigned clinic.
• These candidates should not be submitted if experience is limited to long-term care settings.
• Relevant primary care, urgent care, or emergency room experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments within licensure scope.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
• Document patient medical histories, medications, allergies, assessments, and treatment responses in an EMR.
• Assist with medication reviews and identify potential medication-related concerns.
• Support patient screening activities, including depression and other health assessments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Help patients understand self-care techniques, treatment plans, and available healthcare resources.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.
• Follow established clinical protocols, infection-control standards, and patient safety procedures.
