Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant to work under the primary care operations team, supporting Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care.

The MA will partner with patients and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes, attend MA Clinic Academy training, and perform responsibilities aligned with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• One year of applicable patient care experience or medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care under the primary care operations team.
• Partner with patients, providers, and care team to drive quality outcomes.
• Perform duties in a manner consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
