Job summary

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Moore is hiring for Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT/Paramedic roles on a full-time basis, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The team seeks compassionate caregivers who support patient prep, vitals, testing, vaccines, and follow-up coordination.

Clinical experience in primary care is preferred; certifications including BLS are required within 90 days of hire. Oklahoma LPN licensure or MA credentials applicable to the role are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferred in a primary care setting.
• Active LPN license in Oklahoma for LPN track.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for visit by completing rooming tasks and entering chief complaint.
• Take vital signs, review history and allergies, and reconcile medications.
• Assist with in-office testing: draw blood, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
• Administer vaccines and injections within scope of practice.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate care with providers.

Position Details:

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Moore

Full-Time; 40 hours/week, M-F 8am-5pm

Accepting applications for MA, LPN, or EMT/Paramedic!

Overview:

• Prepares patient for visit with provider by completing Advanced Standard room process including entering the chief complaint; taking patient vital signs; reviewing patient history and allergies; completing a thorough medication reconciliation; working the Encounter Guide including helping to close any open care gaps such as fall risk, depression screening, breast cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening, and diabetic eye exams; rechecking elevated blood pressures; and completing needed documentation in Epic for yearly preventative visits as needed.

• Assists with any needed in-office testing including, but not limited to, drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKG’s, walking oxygen studies and point of care testing.

• Administer vaccines and other injections within scope of practice.

• Schedules follow up appointments when needed per office policy.

• Collaborates with providers and clinical care team to monitor and coordinate delivery of the care plan.

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.

• Certified Medical Assistant:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or EMT/Paramedic is also accepted. Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

LPN Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

• Licensure: Active LPN license in Oklahoma.

• Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferred, particularly in a primary care office.
