Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant or LPN to join our Primary Care team. You’ll support providers, prepare patients for visits, draw blood, perform EKGs and basic testing, administer vaccines, and help coordinate follow-up care using Epic.

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care LPN works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care LPN will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

What You’ll Do
As a Medical Assistant in Primary Care, you’ll be a vital part of the patient experience and care team. Your responsibilities include:
Preparing patients for provider visits using the Advanced Standard Rooming Process:
Performing in-office testing:
Administering vaccines and injections within scope
Scheduling follow-up appointments per office policy
Collaborating with providers and clinical teams to support care plans
