Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current Ohio NP/APRN or Physician Assistant license.
• Current national board certification appropriate to specialty.
• Ohio Certificate to Prescribe, as applicable.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital, payer, Medicare/Medicaid credentialing.
• Primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or similar experience preferred.
• One year of NP/PA experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and perform comprehensive or focused examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute, chronic, and preventive health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Order, perform, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and patient adherence.
• Provide preventive care and wellness counseling.
