Job summary

MyCare Medical in Brooksville, FL, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as the primary clinical provider for our patients. The role emphasizes outpatient care with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule and on-call duties when required.

You will join a physician-founded, dyad-led practice focused on high-quality, cost-efficient primary care, supported by a centralized business office to let you concentrate on patient care.

Qualifications

• Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) OR American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Certification through an accredited PA certification program focusing on adult medicine
• Currently licensed as an Acute, Adult/Gerontological or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice or the ability to obtain a license prior to employment
• Ideal Candidate, with a minimum of two years of experience as Nurse Practitioner
• Holds or is eligible for DEA licensure and CDS licensure (if required in the state of practice)
• Up-to-date CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
• Rotating and flexible on-call schedule
• We use eClinical Works (eCW) to ensure ease of use for patients and practices
• Focus on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention
• Integrated team-based care to improve patient outcomes
• Prioritize preventative care and proactive management of chronic conditions
• Providers must be comfortable managing a primarily adult-aged patient population
