Job summary

Aultman Orrville Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver primary care in the Dunlap Family Physicians team. This exempt role collaborates with physicians to assess, diagnose, prescribe, and educate patients, with potential specialization in pediatrics or geriatrics.

Qualified candidates hold an MSN or PA-C, with at least three years nursing clinic experience and one year in APP. Current RN and ARNP/PA licenses with prescriptive authority are required, plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

• MSN or PA-C required; certification from an approved program.
• Minimum three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic, plus one year of APP experience preferred.
• Current state RN license and ARNP/PA license with prescriptive authority; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status by history, exam and chart reviews and determine care plan.
• Order and perform labs and tests; consult with physicians as needed.
• Develop and implement treatment plans; educate patients and document records.
• Participate in peer reviews and quality assurance; act as consultant to team.
• Collaborate with physicians to manage care; triage calls/e-mails.
• Promote preventative care and complete annual wellness visits within guidelines.
