Region 8 ESC seeks a Primary Campus Part-Time Registered Nurse for Pittsburg ISD Primary Campus in Pittsburg, Texas. The nurse will implement a comprehensive health services program, provide health services to students, and promote health education and preventive health practices.

Requires RN license in Texas, graduation from an accredited nursing program, CPR, vision/hearing screening certification, and two years nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
• Valid RN license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Certified by Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening.
• CPR Certification.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program

Valid registered nurse license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners

Certified by Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening

CPR Certification

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of health appraisal to identify student health defects

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to implement policies and procedures

Experience:

Two years nursing experience, preferably in community health
