Job summary

Meijer in Ohio is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked and ready for customers. You will perform everyday retail tasks related to product placement, merchandising, and friendly service.

You’ll stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while coordinating with store leadership to meet daily goals, including overnight prep for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Comfort with learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer interactions when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prep store for the day.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
