Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Pricing Systems & Analytics Specialist to own and enhance pricing tools used by Sales and Estimating. You will automate, integrate, and modernize interfaces while collaborating with Estimating, Sales, Finance and IT to ensure accurate pricing and scalable processes.

The role requires advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, SQL, and CPQ/ERP tools. You will train users, develop dashboards, and drive pricing improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, IS, Industrial Eng or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years supporting pricing, estimating, sales operations, or business systems.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented and customer-focused with a systems-thinking approach.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate clearly.

Job Summary:

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pricing Systems & Analytics Specialist to build and maintain the pricing tools that Sales and Estimating use to produce accurate, consistent quotes.

This individual owns the company’s pricing applications and drives their move toward more scalable, user-friendly solutions through automation, integrations, and modern interfaces. Success requires advanced technical skill plus working knowledge of estimating methods and commercial processes.

The role works most closely with Estimating, Sales, Finance and partners across functions to keep pricing tools accurate, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

Job Duties:

• Own and maintain all pricing and estimating tools.
• Keep pricing models accurate and aligned with engineering standards and commercial strategy.
• Manage version control, testing, and rollout of pricing tool updates.
• Provide day-to-day troubleshooting and support to estimators and sales.
• Simplify complex pricing workflows.
• Build enhancements that improve usability, speed, and accuracy.
• Build advanced Excel solutions using:
• Power Query
• Power Pivot
• VBA (where appropriate)
• Dynamic arrays
• Advanced formulas
• Evaluate migrating Excel tools to more scalable platforms such as:
• Power Apps
• Web-based applications
• CPQ platforms
• Salesforce integrations
• ERP-connected pricing applications
• Partner with IT and developers on simple user interfaces that hide pricing complexity without changing business rules.
• Learn the company’s products, manufacturing processes, options, and commercial offerings.
• Translate engineering and product requirements into pricing logic.
• Work with Engineering and Product Management to add new products and design changes to pricing tools.
• Learn estimating workflows and recommend improvements.
• Act as the go-to resource for pricing tool questions.
• Train new users on pricing applications and best practices.
• Help with complex pricing and quoting scenarios.
• Support standardization across estimating teams.
• Build dashboards and reports covering:
• Tool performance
• Output and accuracy
• Use data to identify process improvements.
• Document pricing methodologies and system logic.
• Recommend changes that cut manual effort and improve data quality.
• Support pricing systems, CPQ, CRM, and digital transformation initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-5 years supporting pricing, estimating, sales operations, or business systems.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented and customer-focused, with a systems-thinking approach.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Clear communicator with technical and non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Manufacturing or engineered-to-order product experience including switchgear, control enclosures, relays, or other power distribution equipment.
• Pricing or estimating software experience
• Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, or Power Automate.
• Salesforce, CPQ, or ERP.
• Basic VBA or low-code development.
• Improved speed and accuracy of quotations.
• Reduced maintenance effort for pricing tools.
