Job summary

Apple in Austin, TX seeks a Pricing Systems Engineer to develop and automate scalable pricing data flows across products and channels. You will partner with cross-functional teams to manage country and channel offerings, localize assortments, and implement pricing data elements end-to-end.

You will translate business requirements into technical specs, contribute to ERP and data pipelines, participate in UAT, and support ongoing pricing initiatives. 40 hours/week on-site in Austin.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Utilizing SQL for data mining, including writing database queries, developing Oracle PL/SQL packages and procedures
• Utilizing standard or custom ERP systems to support pricing operations
• Translating design requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Analyzing business requirement documents and capturing enhancement requests after software releases
• Leading business process re-engineering initiatives, defining scope, milestones, and managing project timelines and implementation
• Utilizing GitHub for source code management
• Utilizing the pricing domain and overall technical skills, such as Python and Oracle SQL, for the pricing tools used to develop solutions needed to implement and validate the pricing
• Utilizing Excel techniques for analyzing the trend in price changes and reporting
• Performing validation and user acceptance testing for business process
• Supporting the internal support team in case of priority issues

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate pricing systems that scale the organization.
• Validate large volumes of master data related to Apple-branded and third-party products.
• Master end-to-end pricing data flows from executive approvals to customer storefronts.
• Translate requirements into technical artifacts and participate in UAT.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional partners to manage country and channel offerings.
• Lead process improvements and strategic pricing initiatives.
