Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Pricing Analyst in Irving, TX, to lead pricing analysis and executions across assigned product categories.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with large data sets, and collaboration with Category Management, Marketing, Store Operations, and Inventory. You will drive pricing strategy, manage weekly promotion plans, and support markdowns while refining tools and processes to optimize margin and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, mathematics, statistics, finance.
• Minimum 2 years in a corporate business setting with analytical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Be the pricing expert for assigned categories of product.
• Conduct regular price strategy and analysis, including cost changes and competitive shifts.
• Track and measure the effectiveness of retail changes and present recommendations to partners.
• Collaborate with Merchants, Marketing, Store Operations, and Inventory to support pricing decisions.
• Maintain pricing and promotions analytics, including weekly promotional plans and seasonal charts.
• Support reporting for Pricing Advisory and assist with ad hoc competitive shop projects.
