Job summary

Patterson Companies is seeking a Pricing Analyst to develop and analyze pricing models that maximize profitability and market competitiveness. The role applies pricing science, analytics, and market research to balance customer value with business objectives.

The position is hybrid, two days a week, based out of our Mendota Heights corporate office, with responsibilities spanning strategy, modeling, and cross-functional pricing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2 years of related pricing, analytics, finance, or similar commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and recommend pricing strategies, guardrails, and discount frameworks for target markets and product portfolios
• Conduct market and competitive research to inform pricing trends and dynamics
• Analyze cost structures, demand drivers, and margin impacts for pricing/tariff development
• Design, implement, and maintain pricing models, tools, and guidelines
• Evaluate pricing strategies and promotions with analytical models and metrics
• Develop pricing scenario analyses to assess business impact of changes
• Prepare and deliver pricing reports and insights for internal stakeholders
• Serve as a point of contact for internal sales pricing inquiries
