Job summary

Mcnaughton Mckay Group in Madison Heights, MI seeks an Advanced Pricing Specialist to analyze, create, and maintain high volumes of customer sell pricing and vendor contracts using Excel, Access, and the SXe business system.

You will design pricing strategies and infrastructures, develop tools to increase department efficiency, train new pricing analysts, and support quarterly updates and process improvements. Evening/weekend testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science or related field; 5+ years in pricing, analytics, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes vendor SPAs and sales requests for special pricing and loads them into the business system efficiently.
• Analyzes cost change impact of renewed SPAs and collaborates with account managers and vendors.
• Sets up new customer pricing matrices with the sales team and negotiates upcoming SPAs for renewal.
• Works with vendors on pricing hierarchy and part-number changes affecting SPA contracts.
• Identifies and resolves pricing and rebate inconsistencies across pricing records; updates affected sell records as needed.
• Develops and updates departmental procedures and pricing strategies; creates Excel/Access tools to boost efficiency.
• Participates in SXe update testing, including occasional evening/weekend work; provides training for new pricing analysts.
