Job summary

Armstrong World Industries in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Pricing Specialist to support field sales reps in pricing activities, including quotes, impact analysis and price changes. You will input quotes into Salesforce.com and communicate quotes to reps and customers.

The role collaborates with the Pricing and Business Analysis team to drive pricing improvements and policy compliance. Ideal candidates retain numbers, stay organized, and handle multiple requests while following established

Armstrong World Industries has a job opportunity for a Pricing Specialist who will be responsible for the support of the field sales reps in pricing activities, including quoting, impact analysis and price changes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Price quotations for field sales reps, including entry of quotes into Salesforce.com and the communication of quotes to reps and external customers
• Performing analysis on price and sales to identify and execute price simplification opportunities
• Identifying, analyzing, implementing and communicating process improvements that result in effective and efficient business practices within the Pricing and Business Analysis team
• Execute pricing and business policies

Qualifications

• Ability to retain numbers and numerically inclined
• Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience prioritizing multiple requests
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma with five or more years related experience and/or training;
• Degree Preferred from two or four-year college or university
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
