Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a finance professional in Jacksonville, FL for a 12+ month contract. The role focuses on advanced financial analysis, budgeting, pricing, and supporting cost-of-service studies.

Responsibilities include developing budgets and long-term plans, performing in-depth analyses, and delivering management reports to senior leadership. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of regulations are required.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of professional experience with budget, economic or financial analysis.
• Experience in the utility business or governmental budgeting/accounting is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or other related discipline; CPA, MBA, or master’s degree in a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops Finance deliverables, including Operating and Capital budgets, long-term financial plans, cost of service studies, pricing, treasury and cash operations.
• Performs in-depth analyses and prepares forecasting and financial projection models.
• Maintains internal controls and prepares financial transactions in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Develops and maintains pricing documentation; explains analyses to management and stakeholders.
• Prepares ad hoc financial analyses, variance reports, and management reporting.
• Stays abreast of industry trends and complies with legal requirements.
