Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. seeks a Pricing Manager to oversee cost and price maintenance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and alignment with business goals across sales, accounting and marketing.

You will lead pricing analysts, develop pricing strategies, monitor analytics, and drive ERP data integrity while ensuring compliance and data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in pricing, finance, or contract administration and supervision of a multi-member team.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, pricing software, market analysis, compliance and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Oversight: Manage cost and price administration processes, including recordkeeping and compliance.
• Transactional Oversight: Monitor cost and price relationships ensuring accuracy for supplier and customer levels.
• Pricing Strategy Development & Oversight: Collaborate with Commercial team to evaluate and improve pricing strategies.
• Sales Tools: Support price quoting data access; align ERP master data with transactional data population.
• Supports, Contract & Pricing Management: Capture supplier costs and rebates in ERP for accurate reporting.
• Analytics & Reporting: Provide pricing analytics to monitor quote effectiveness, churn, and margins.
• Key Account Processes: Support KA team pricing processes to meet evolving requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Improve efficiency and effectiveness of pricing administration.
• Team Leadership: Lead pricing analysts/administrators, set priorities and guide performance.
• Special Projects: Support ad-hoc pricing initiatives, promotions and projects.

The Pricing Manager is responsible for assuring item level cost and price records are properly maintained. As manager, monitor team workload balance and expand individual and team capability. This role blends strategic pricing leadership with operational administration, with emphasis on collaboration with accounting, sales, and industry marketing teams.**Key Responsibilities*** Administrative Oversight: Manage cost and price administration processes, including recordkeeping, compliance, and internal procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.* Transactional Oversight: Monitor transactional cost and price relationship assuring supplier and customer level financial results are accurate.* Pricing Strategy Development & Oversight: Collaborate with Commercial team to evaluate, recommend, and improve pricing strategies for products or services, ensuring alignment with financial targets, market competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.* Sales Tools: Recommend use of Excel and other tools to provide access to price quote data.
