Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Vermont seeks a stock clerk to maintain pricing documentation accuracy and support store operations, while upholding our core values of respect and integrity.

You will manage UPC files, test vendor scanning, maintain weekly ad items in the scanning file, and assist in general housekeeping, with flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, bulletins, etc.
• Available and able to perform stock clerk duties and customer service duties as scheduled or assigned.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store UPC File (price change, deletion, new items).
• Check in and test scan all vendors.
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file.
• Provide housekeeping in computer room and test backups.
• Copy PLU File twice a week.
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
• Test scan entire store every six to eight weeks.
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, Special Item Movement Report).
• Perform other duties as assigned by store manager and scanning supervisors.
• Adhere to company policies & procedures, including dress code and safety.
• Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights; weekends and holidays as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
