Job summary

Fresco y Mas in New York is seeking a Pricing Specialist to safeguard pricing integrity across the store. You will administer price changes, resolve discrepancies, and ensure shelf labels, tags and advertised items are accurate while delivering courteous, knowledgeable service.

You will collaborate with store teams to maintain compliance, support food safety and handle price-related issues promptly, contributing to customer trust and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Proficient with computer applications used in effectively operating the department.

Responsibilities

• SERVICE: Creates an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important and appreciated, increasing confidence and loyalty and conducts test scans to ensure price accuracy and proper labeling.
• FINANCIAL: Completes daily and weekly administrative tasks including price file changes and trainings; reviews shelf labels and signs for accuracy and addresses discrepancies.
• LEADERSHIP: Coordinates the implementation of store price changes with management to maintain price integrity and compliance with company guidelines.
• COMPLIANCE/SAFETY: Ensures safety and regulatory compliance, including food safety, USDA/COOL, and recalls, while maintaining safe working conditions and reporting safety risks.
