Job summary

Wegmans is seeking a pricing coordinator to maintain pricing integrity across our stores. You will ensure products are accurately priced and signs, labels, and price tags are neatly maintained so customers have a strong first impression.

Your attention to detail helps enhance the shopping experience. In this fast-paced role you will update price tags on shelves, relay discrepancies to the corporate office, coordinate price changes with store managers, and order signs for locations to ensure

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, preferably in a grocery or retail setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge.

As a pricing coordinator you will maintain the overall pricing integrity within our stores. Your attention to detail will ensure that customers have a great first impression each time they enter one of our store locations and your work will help enhance their shopping experience. You will work to ensure that our exceptional product selection is accurately priced and that signs, labels and price tags are beautifully maintained and where customers can easily find them. Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as light with some medium to heavy tasks. Work includes prolonged standing for up to 4 hours without a break, walking, repetitive and sustained hand and arm movements including sustained grasping, occasional heavy lifting, bending, and reaching, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers. The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 12 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 40 pounds occasionally. Upper extremity repetition is moderately high and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors. Work may also include travel to various stores include competitors’ stores.
