Job summary

ThredUp is seeking a Pricing and Authentication Coordinator based in our Phoenix distribution center. You will focus on pricing and authentication, especially for lower‑level brands, and help ensure item quality and accurate information for buyers and suppliers.

You will work under the Product Ops Supervisor, support other areas as needed, and contribute to special projects while upholding ThredUp’s standards and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of apparel quality standards; secondhand experience a plus.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize and complete tasks under deadlines.
  • Strong organization and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility, creativity and willingness to optimize processes.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift up to 30lbs and push/pull racks up to 150lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on pricing and authentication with emphasis on lower level brands.
  • Monitor and update internal pricing tables across retailers.
  • Educate itemizers about brands and product acceptance.
  • Partner with Product Ops Supervisor to maintain FIFO for items in Under Review.
  • Support Customer Service with price update requests.
  • Occasionally assist QA Ops during high volume times.

About The Role

The Product Ops team is focused on ensuring thredUP Ops adheres to procedures and protocols by auditing and providing feedback at the appropriate touch points within the Ops organization. You will help us ensure that Ops accepts items of the right quality, records the right information, and takes amazing photos. You will also apply your love of fashion and/or the resale industry to help us honor our promises to suppliers and buyers.

As a Pricing and Authentication Coordinator, you will be based in a distribution center and will report to a Product Ops Supervisor. Your work will be primarily focused on one of these two areas: Pricing & Authentication, or general projects on product. Occasionally you will also support Quality Assurance (QA) Ops during high volume times. As you fine‑tune your skills, you may be asked to support other areas, tackle special projects, and mentor others according to business needs.

In Pricing & Authentication, You Will
  • Focus on pricing and authentication with an emphasis on lower level authentication brands.
  • Receives exposure to higher risk authentication brands as the business allows.
  • Regularly monitor, audit and update the internal pricing tables of a broad range of retailers.
  • Assist in educating itemizers about brands and product acceptance.
  • Partner with Product Ops Supervisor to ensure FIFO is maintained for all items in the Under Review queue.
  • Support Customer Service team in price update requests.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of apparel quality standards (experience with secondhand is a plus!).
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and complete tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organization and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility, creativity and willingness to optimize processes.
  • Ability to bend down, reach overhead, lift/carry up to 30lbs and push/pull wheeled clothing racks weighing up to 150lbs.
