Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop overall pricing strategy at the item level and review the accuracy on-going.
• Analyze use of earned income, if necessary, to establish proper pricing structure.
• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Review margin reports daily at customer and item level to ensure the operation company (OpCo) is making the correct adjusted gross profit.
• Review top moving items for margin enhancement and make recommendations to purchasing departments.
• Review markets daily and recommend price changes to customer bids and market and national cost.
• Review all bids for correct pricing, i.e. suitability, adjusted gross profit, and case movement
• Assist VP Purchasing/Sales in developing queries/reports.
• Other duties as outlined by management

Oversees the setup and maintenance of all Corporate Multi-Unit (CMU) and Local contract bids and order guides. Analyzes identify and propose actions to both purchasing and sales departments to ensure compliance with the Corporate Multi-Unit (CMU) business and grow margin/profitability.**To ensure a successful onboarding experience, this role begins with a structured onsite training program. The first three weeks of training will take place at our sister facility, FreshPoint Bix in Minnesota, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered by the company. After returning to the Laurel office, employees will continue training onsite until they have demonstrated proficiency in the role.
