Job summary

Belk, Inc. & Belk eCommerce LLC. is seeking a Pricing and Coupon Analyst to support corporate pricing strategies, monitor policy compliance, verify promotions, and assist with training initiatives.

Qualifications

Job description

To support the corporate Pricing and Coupon processes and strategies, monitor the company's compliance to advertising and established policies and guidelines, verify accuracy and executability of promotions, manage exception reports, resolve merchant and store pricing & coupon issues, and support training initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Utilize seasonal pricing strategies and PLU calendars to support execution of all price changes and coupon offers
• Assist merchants in executing pricing strategies
• Resolve all merchant and store pricing and coupon issues in a timely manner
• Manage creation and review of merchant compliance reporting
• Audit accuracy of pricing and coupons
• Support and lead merchant training for pricing
• Support the publication of the Critical Action List
• Support the execution of seasonal clearance strategies and MOS
• Partner with IT to continuously improve processes and ensure execution of strategies
• Maintain coupon exclusion tables
• Build business partnerships that support corporate strategies
• Support Task Manager communication process
• Support corporate presell events
• Support store closing process
• Requires designated hybrid in-office work schedule.

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience
• 1-3 years of retail experience
• Project experience and general knowledge of pricing systems and policies preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to operate PC/POS
• Register/Scanner
• Works well in a team environment
• Deadline oriented, organized, and ability to multi-task
• Strong written, oral communication and analytical skills
• Strong PC skills (primarily Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
• Query based system knowledge

Pay Range:

$26/hr - $28/hr Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
