Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst in Boston, MA. You will conduct simple to moderate financial analysis and support both monthly/quarterly reviews and the annual budget process.

This role involves working with standard procedures, analyzing information, and applying basic financial principles using Microsoft Office tools. Ideal candidates have up to 3 years of relevant experience and strong numerical and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience or combination of experience and education in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills and the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly and quarterly review of subsegment results including P&L, capital, KPIs, CAPEX and spending.
• Assist with cost improvement and savings opportunities and collect data supporting commercial assessments.
• Support the annual budget process.
• Help with monthly and quarterly forecasting and strategic planning processes.
• Produce routine and adhoc financial reports, packages and pro forma analyses.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Exchange straightforward information, asks questions and check for understanding.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting simple to moderate standard financial analysis and ad hoc finance projects. This job is part of the Financial Planning and Analysis job function. They are responsible for the short and long-term financial planning and analysis of business operations.

What You’ll Do

• Support the monthly and quarterly review of subsegment results including P&L, capital, KPIs, CAPEX and spending.
• Assist with cost improvement and savings opportunities and collect data supporting commercial assessments.
• Support the annual budget process.
• Help with monthly and quarterly forecasting and strategic planning processes.
• Produce routine and adhoc financial reports, packages and pro forma analyses.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines and use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

What You’ll Need:
