Hydra-Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Pricing Analyst to handle day-to-day pricing requests, ensure accuracy and policy compliance, and identify pricing issues from operational activity.
The role supports pricing projects and strategy, bridging execution and analysis to improve pricing performance. The position collaborates with sales, product, and finance teams, contributes to margin analysis, and maintains records of pricing decisions and outcomes.
Hydra-Power Systems (HPS) designs and manufactures integrated hydraulic circuit manifolds, custom power unit systems, and packaged power unit solutions, and distributes hydraulic and pneumatic components. Operations span two facilities, in Portland, Oregon and Birmingham, Alabama. Both sites are ISO 9001 certified and completed recertification in 2026.
The company operates on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System): quarterly Rocks, weekly Level 10 meetings, scorecard measurables, and a live issues list worked through IDS. Quality measurables already appear on departmental scorecards.
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for handling day-to-day pricing requests and ensuring accuracy and compliance across all transactions. Beyond ticket resolution, this role is expected to identify broader pricing issues surfacing from operational activity and proactively propose solutions to the Pricing Manager. The Pricing Analyst also plays an active supporting role in pricing projects and strategy, bridging execution and analysis to contribute to the overall performance and continuous improvement of the pricing function.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, and two years related
experience or 5-8 years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, margins, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Demonstrates strong analytical and data interpretation skills to evaluate pricing and profitability scenarios.

Base salary of $29.00 - $33/00 per hour depending on experience, plus a target annual bonus.
Placement within the range is determined by demonstrated experience, education, and certification. Consistent with Oregon law, candidates are not asked for salary history.
