Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Pricing Analyst primarily on-site in Elkton, MD, with potential locations in Rocket Center, WV or Linthicum, MD. You will join the PS&C Pricing & Estimating team to support Missile products, develop competitive proposals, and provide guidance on cost/pricing data and negotiations.

The role requires a background in pricing, finance, or contracts, along with strong Excel skills and the ability to obtain security clearance. The standard schedule is a 9/80A shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience OR Master’s degree with 0 years of related experience.
• Experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.

Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst in our Business Management department. The selected candidate will become an integral part of the PS&C Pricing & Estimating team while supporting Missile products along with be tasked with providing guidance and support to the business unit activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have the ability work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be primarily located on-site in Elkton, MD but can be consider at other locations such as Rocket Center, WV or Linthicum, MD.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work in a team environment to develop proposals in response to customer requests
• Prepare Proposals in compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policies
• Present proposal recommendations to management
• Prepare certified cost and pricing data packages
• Support proposal audits and negotiations with customers

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting or related experience
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 0 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience
• Experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel skills is highly preferred.
• Prior Price Estimating experience
• Experience with ProPricer
• Experience with Cost/Price Analysis

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $108,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
