The senior pricing analyst’s primary responsibilities are to analyze pricing changes and optimize overall profitability and drive continuous improvement activity for the pricing and quotation team. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting market research and preparation of recommendations regarding pricing policies. The pricing analyst will identify opportunities to enhance the pricing process and implement those changes across the organization. The senior analyst will drive price realization, streamline pricing processes, and support and implement initiatives to improve price structure and tools.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Stock Discount Management: support product management and the pricing team in making changes to list price structures for product hierarchy / customer pricing re-alignment initiatives.
• Frame up and make recommendations and negotiate SPA, and project pricing requests that exceed the Quotes team’s authority guidelines.
• Change Leader: identify opportunities to optimize pricing processes, drive change cross functionally and lead project improvement teams.
• Encourage and empower team participation in improvement projects and support resolution of cross functional issues.
• Execute and communicate adjustments to list price to optimize profitability and sales.
• Create and execute “fix or exit” strategies cross functionally
• Evaluate historical/competitive/product features to suggest list prices for existing and new products
• Conduct quantitative analysis, formulate action plans and drive improvement
• Develop and implement pricing tools, metrics, and authority structures for use by sales and marketing
• Prioritize and execute high project flow
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, marketing, finance, or engineering
• 2+ years’ experience in an organization selling through manufacturer’s representative, distribution, or factory direct sales force
• 3+ years’ experience in pricing, quotations, sourcing/purchasing or finance role
• 2+ years’ experience with MS Office suite with focus in Excel.
PREFERRED
• 5+ years’ experience in pricing, quotations or finance role
• Trained in Six Sigma
• 2+ years’ experience in SAP
• 2+years’ experience in Business Warehouse
