Job summary

Scott Electric in Greensburg, PA, is seeking an entry-level Pricing Analyst to support daily maintenance of product data and pricing within Infor CloudSuite Distribution. You will perform data entry, update item records, assist with pricing strategies, and provide quotes to sales staff while learning Scott Electric’s product lines and pricing processes.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain item records within Infor CloudSuite Distribution
Process item status updates and other product maintenance requests
Create, Update, and correct product descriptions and other product information
Perform data entry and file maintenance to ensure product information remains accurate and current
Assist with researching and resolving product data discrepancies
Follow established department procedures and data standards
Provide sales staff with non-stock product quotes
Assist in pricing strategies using cost information, market research, and competitive data
Create, update, and adjust individual product prices within Scott Electric’s Price Class system
Maintain per-account product contract prices
Research and evaluate pricing information to ensure products are priced accurately and competitively
Work closely with team members to complete daily assignments
Provide timely and accurate support to Sales and other internal departments
Communicate effectively with vendors, sales staff, and other Scott Electric employees when necessary
Identify data or process issues and bring them to attention of supervisor

Position Summary

The Pricing Department at Scott Electric is responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of product information, pricing, and item master data within the company’s Infor CloudSuite Distribution ERP System.

The Pricing Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance of product data and pricing. This position will perform routine product setup, data entry, pricing maintenance, and file maintenance activities while developing a thorough understanding of Scott Electric’s products, business processes, and CloudSuite Distribution system.

Product Date & ERP Responsibilities

Create and maintain item records within Infor CloudSuite Distribution
Process item status updates and other product maintenance requests
Create, Update, and correct product descriptions and other product information
Perform data entry and file maintenance to ensure product information remains accurate and current
Assist with researching and resolving product data discrepancies
Follow established department procedures and data standards

Pricing Responsibilities

Provide sales staff with non-stock product quotes
Utilize cost information, market research, and competitive information to assist in creating and implementing pricing strategies
Create, update, and adjust individual product prices within Scott Electric’s multiple “Price Class” system
Maintain per-account product contract prices
Research and evaluate pricing information to ensure products are priced accurately and competitively

General Responsibilities

Work closely with team members to complete daily assignments and department priorities
Provide timely and accurate support to Sales and other internal departments
Communicate effectively with vendors, sales staff, and other Scott Electric employees when necessary
Identify data or process issues and bring them to the attention of the appropriate team member or supervisor
