Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Pricing Analyst to manage pricing for formulary generics, analyze market trends, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership. The role supports Corporate Partnerships, Strategic Global Sourcing, and Finance with reporting and data-driven recommendations.

The position requires 2+ years in financial analysis and a strong command of Excel/PowerPoint, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. Full-time, on-site in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial modeling, or related field.
• Preferred internship or co-op experience in Finance, Business, or Pricing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze item-level pricing for formulary generics contracts.
• Analyze monthly industry trends to recommend pricing actions.
• Report on goals related to formulary generics and profitability.
• Create presentations using multiple data sources.
• Generate month-end, ad hoc, rebate, and administrative reports.
• Support Finance and Commercial teams with pricing analyses.

Job Details

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing a portfolio of generic pharmaceutical products. Responsible for analyzing generic market trends to provide information to support company strategy related to Cencora's formulary generics business. Managing market and customer segment responsibilities including conducting margin analysis, analyzing competitive data, and providing insights and interpretation as to best course of action. Segment support is focused on assigned customer portfolio. Technical skills needed to send reporting to Senior Leadership within Corporate Partnerships, Strategic Global Sourcing, and Cencora Finance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts in depth analysis on item level pricing for formulary generics contracts.
• Analyzes monthly trends in industry to make recommendations on pricing action at a customer and product level
• Reports on plan and finance goals as it relates to Cencora formulary generics and assess impact on profitability.
• Conducts and analyzes price comparisons for current customers via standardized reporting tool; ensures accuracy of information being reported.
• Ability to put together presentations utilizing multi-data sources
• Responsible for generating reports such as month end, ad hoc, rebate, and administration reports; requires the utilization of multiple systems and the consolidation of data from various sources.
• Excellent understanding of the Cencora formulary generics solution and messaging
• Documents processes and procedures related to primary duties and responsibilities.
• Conducts in depth Leakage Analysis, interpretation, and reporting to customer/chain/channel level
• The position further supports Finance and Commercial teams through prospective customer evaluations and other strategic pricing analyses that inform growth and customer acquisition opportunities.
• Performs related duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial modeling, management reporting, or a related field required.
• Preferred previous internship or co-op experience in Finance, Business, or Pricing.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
