Job summary

Progressive is seeking a mid-level pricing actuarial analyst for the Commercial Lines BOP team in the United States. You will research actuarial concepts to support rate adequacy, inform state product design, and assist with rate level changes.

You’ll work with your team and Product Management to develop recommendations and support rate revisions. You will also prepare actuarial support for Department of Insurance filings and respond to related inquiries.

Qualifications

4+ years of analytical work experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher with 3+ years analytical work experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field with 1 year analytical work experience.
Minimum of 3 passed actuarial examinations for CAS Basic Education syllabus.

Responsibilities

Research and apply actuarial concepts to support rate adequacy and inform product design and rate level changes.
