Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas seeks a detail-oriented Merchandise Pricer in McKinney, TX. In this role, you'll price donations to meet quality standards and support a welcoming shopping experience aligned with our mission of service, stewardship, and inclusion.

You'll work on pricing with a baseline guide, maintain a tidy pricing area, assist with inventory flow across locations, and participate in training to stay current with merchandise knowledge, policies, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are essential.
• Knowledge of the following is preferred: accessories, antiques, wares, large hard goods, shoes, electronics, and furniture.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid photo ID is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation and manual dexterity are required.
• Ability to perform job duties that require prolong standing, physical exertion, and occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to ensure 100% donor and customer satisfaction.
• Price merchandise following a baseline price guide, with special pricing for items of unique or exceptional value.
• Maintain a clean and organized pricing area and transport merchandise to various facility locations (sales floor, stockroom, etc.).
• Stock, display, and rotate merchandise on shelves and perform markdowns according to agency policies.
• Follow all Goodwill policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
• Achieve production goals consistently to support timely inventory processing.
• Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on merchandise knowledge, industry trends, and pricing standards.
