Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years in industrial mechanical/electrical or maintenance preferred; or 2-4 years in industrial/manufacturing.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with JDE/AS400 and MS Office.
• Light welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly PM on production lines and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections for wear, mechanical issues and safety concerns.
• Complete PM, inspection and repair documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain maintenance records and files.
• Assist with general maintenance of building and grounds.
• Work with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and safe, follow EHS procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions and stop work if needed.
• Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Work overtime or fluctuating schedule as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
