Job summary

Walmart in Grantsville, UT is seeking a Maintenance and Equipment Inspector to perform basic to intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on Walmart equipment including trailers, tractors, yard trucks, and service vehicles, following company policies and DOT guidelines.

You will create and process work orders, assess parts/solutions, communicate with customers and associates, and ensure safety standards are met while supporting Walmart’s values and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Brake inspection qualified as defined in FMCSA regulations, 396.25.
• Vehicle inspection qualified as defined in FMCSA regulations, 396.19.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs and replacements following Walmart guidelines for equipment (trailers, tractors, yard trucks, service vehicles).
• Create and process work orders, assess maintenance/repair needs and identify parts and solutions.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and associates in writing and verbally and document work accordingly.
• Maintain safety and DOT compliance and monitor fuel-related procedures as required.
