Job summary

Together for Youth in Albany, NY seeks an experienced supervisor to lead the Prevention program, recruit referrals, and oversee staff with regulatory compliance. The role includes budget oversight, reporting, and collaboration with community agencies to support children and families.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or related Human Services discipline preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related Human Services discipline required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience working with at risk youth; minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience required.
• Flexible schedule with evenings required; provide on-call coverage.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving history to the Agency, and a reliable vehicle. Travel is required.
• Travel is required for the position.
• Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.

• Assists with preparation of budget and ensures fiscal accountability including but not limited to providing regular statistical and billing information, preparing biweekly and/or monthly reports and completing all state-mandated reports in a timely manner; monitors expenses and approves travel expense records.
• Acts as a liaison to a variety of community and public agencies.
• Forms therapeutic relationships with children and families.
• Responsible for managing subcontractors and contractors may be required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
