Together for Youth seeks a Prevention Family Specialist to support Montgomery Turnabout at Barkley Elementary.
You will work to preserve families by providing in-home casework counseling and linking parents to tools and resources to enhance children's safety and permanency.
The Prevention Family Specialist goal is to preserve the family unit by providing supportive casework counseling in the home and empower parents with tools and resources to ensure children's safety, well-being and permanency while providing advocacy to ensure quality services.
The Montgomery Turnabout is a junior or middle high school-based truancy prevention program with Berkley Elementary designed to avert out-of-home placements of children at-risk due to poor school attendance.
91% of turnabout youth had improved their attendance at the time of discharge.
Pay Rate Range
$23.08 - $24.04

Job Requirements
Must have a Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving history to the Agency, and a reliable vehicle. Travel is required. Ability to coordinate and plan travel for visits and appointments in efficient manner.
