Job summary

Qualifications

• 2,000 hours in substance abuse prevention
• 100 hours of prevention education training including 4 hours of Prevention specific HIV/Aids education, 6 hours of prevention specific ethics and 4 hours of Managing a Disruptive Audience Behavior
• A minimum of 120 hours of supervised practical experience with at least 10 of the following: Individual/Peer/Family/Community/School

Responsibilities

• Developing and presenting programs to update the targeted population
• Conducting research on applicable topics
• Serve as an operational liaison between the Center and the community
• Some travel is required within the catchment area

Education

BS degree in a human services related field

1 year experience in substance abuse
