A leading organization in Kansas seeks a part-time Prevention Coordinator to engage the community in menthol tobacco prevention and treatment. The role involves coordinating events, maintaining communication, and supporting community assessments to address tobacco product usage among priority populations.

The part-time coordinator shall work with the Center for Black Health and Equity (CBHE), CHAT, and community members to develop a community-driven approach to youth and adult menthol prevention and treatment. CHAT will engage the African American community to address the targeted promotion of tobacco products, particularly menthol-flavored tobacco, which leads to disproportionately high usage among African Americans and other priority populations. The coordinator shall demonstrate a friendly and professional attitude and appearance.
