Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance associate in Kentucky to keep guest units and buildings in superb working order.

You will apply basic handyman skills, perform general facility maintenance under supervision, and address service requests with care to ensure a safe, comfortable stay. Collaborating with housekeeping and other teams, you will inspect systems, report deficiencies, and support a value-driven hospitality experience.

• Basic handyman skills including general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance under supervision to preserve quality and efficiency.
• Address service requests and perform repairs (painting, appliances, minor electrical, carpentry).
• Maintain make-ready units and inspect/general fixtures like doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, cabinetry.
• Assist housekeeping and laundry with pickups and drop-offs.
• Clean and maintain outdoor landscape and manage trash.

As a Preventative Maintenance, you’ll make dream vacations by providing quality results for our guests by using your maintenance skills, customer service expertise and guaranteeing each unit and building is in perfectly working order.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Perform all general facility maintenance under supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production.


• Perform service requests and repairs as directed (Painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).


• Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.


• Apply basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures, general repair includes doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.


• Assist housekeeping and laundry departments with pick-ups and drop-offs.


• Clean and maintain outside landscape: including emptying trash, pick up of trash, general landscape work.


• Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor. Adhere to the company’s safety programs.

Compensation

Generally starting at $17.50 - $17.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
