Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to keep guest units and buildings in top condition, using maintenance skills and customer service to ensure quality experiences for guests.

You will perform general facility maintenance under supervision, handle repairs (painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry), make-ready unit maintenance, and inspect building systems to report deficiencies. We offer comprehensive health benefits and starting pay of $20 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform all general facility maintenance under supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production.
• Perform service requests and repairs as directed (Painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).
• Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.
• Apply basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures, general repair includes: doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.
• Clean and maintain outside landscape: including emptying trash, pick up of trash, general landscape work.
• Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Adhere to the company’s safety programs.

Compensation Generally starting at $20.00 - $20.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
