Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep industrial equipment running smoothly in our Indiana facility. You will own the upkeep system, perform repairs on conveyors and forklifts, and support LEAN improvement projects while upholding OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical skills with forklifts, conveyors, dock doors.
• Welding and metal fabrication expertise.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and safety practices.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• LEAN and 5S knowledge a plus.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and web-based systems.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own the upkeep system: track work orders, schedule repairs, and manage parts.
• Maintain equipment from forklifts to conveyors, including inspections and installations.
• Ensure plant stays clean, organized, and production-ready.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
• Collaborate with leadership on LEAN improvements and special projects.
• Operate forklifts safely (training and certification provided).

What You’ll Be Doing
