Heritage Service Group is hiring service technicians in Louisiana. The role involves preventive maintenance and repairs of commercial kitchen equipment, with a salary range of $17.00–$21.00 per hour. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified technicians, plus benefits and on-call pay.

Extensive travel may be required and a company vehicle is provided. Applicants must have hands-on electrical and mechanical experience, the ability to work independently, and a valid driver's license with a good

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered equipment.
• Complete required paperwork for each job (parts order, work order, timesheet) promptly.
• Communicate repairs and status professionally with customers.
• Use appropriate hand and power tools for repairs.
• Monitor truck stock to ensure necessary parts are on hand.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preventive maintenance of gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.


• Complete required paperwork for every job (parts order, work order, timesheet) on a timely basis.


• Communicate professionally with customer regarding required repairs and status.


• Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools.


• Monitor truck stock to insure required parts are stocked on vehicle.


• Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Hands-on electrical and mechanical experience.

• If expected to work in refrigeration - hands-on work experience and necessary certifications or licensing as required by state.

WORKING/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

• Work flexible hours and orovernight/weekendsto meet customer needs.


• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 lbs; and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs with assistance.


• Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.


• Extensive daily travel to work site location with possible weekend and night assignments.


• Exposure to hot grease from fryers.


• Occasional to frequent exertion in high temperature environment (over heated kitchens, rooftops, etc.).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screening is required.


• Valid Driver's License and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
