Job summary

RSI TEXAS, LLC is seeking an entry-level Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The role offers on-call nights and weekends, a company vehicle with gas card, and ongoing paid training at our Mesquite headquarters.

Responsibilities include cleaning, filter replacement, tool operation, and safe vehicle operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/R training or related education may be considered.
• EPA certification required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful drug screening and criminal background check required.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment and ice machines.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Operate a company vehicle and trailer in a safe manner per safety rules.
• Work on-call nights and weekends when assigned.
• Deliver parts from warehouse to technicians and assist on job sites.
• Communicate effectively with customers and work independently under pressure.

• Operate a commercial vehicle and trailer in a safe manner and adhere to all company safety requirements.
• Work on-call nights and weekends when assigned.
• Deliver parts from warehouse to technician.
• Effectively communicate with the customer, and work independently under pressure, and without close supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC/R training or related education may be considered.
• Must be EPA certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background screening
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Exert up to 150 pounds of force (pulling, pushing, lifting, carrying, etc.) regularly and up to 50-75 pounds of force frequently without assistance.
• Climb and work from 8ft ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp to perform essential job functions.
• Tolerate environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, and poor ventilation.
