Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking a dedicated team member for the Preventative Maintenance Shop. The role offers flexible 2–4 hour blocks daily, with both part-time and full-time availability, suitable for students or staff balancing campus life.

You will support routine upkeep alongside technicians, ensuring safe, efficient campus operations. The position includes material handling, filter changes, cleaning mechanical systems, belt replacements, lubrication, and basic documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, honest, responsible, and able to interact with a diverse campus community.
• Must be able to work outside for duration of work shift; walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending and sitting for long periods.
• Able to lift 50lbs as needed.
• Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Basic tool knowledge and mechanical systems awareness.

• (TW) Documenting and updating spreadsheets.
