Seeking a mechanically inclined, safety-oriented heavy equipment mechanic. This position is responsible for heavy-duty diesel maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on trucks and trailers.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Repair and rebuild major components such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems on trucks and trailers.
  • Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
  • Identify parts needed for repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols as per MSHA/OSHA standards and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Use specialized diagnostic tools and stay updated on repair techniques.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Knowledge of hand tools, air tools, measuring instruments, laptops, and diesel diagnostic software.
  • Ownership of personal hand tools.
  • CDL/DOT preferred.
  • Ability to pass background, drug, and physical fitness checks.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience or vocational training preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
