Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to plan and execute preventative maintenance across hospital plant equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

You will report to Facility Management, coordinate with contracted services, and maintain regulatory readiness by documenting permits and standards compliance. Requires 8 years of healthcare facility maintenance experience and knowledge of NFPA, TJC, OSHA, CMS codes.

Responsibilities

• Develops and schedules preventative maintenance activities following approved policy and procedures to ensure safe, reliable operation of plant equipment
• Provides regular communication and reporting of maintenance activities and findings to Facility Management to ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment and systems
• Supports continuous regulatory readiness by completing, documenting and organizing evidence of compliance of related codes and standards to include required permits and licenses
• Assists facility management with obtaining, scheduling and monitoring of contracted maintenance activities to provide continuous maintenance and inspection services

Position Summary

Education

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.

Experience

• 8 years of facility maintenance experience
• Working knowledge in the repair and maintenance of sophisticated plant equipment and systems in a healthcare environment
• Working knowledge of required code and standard compliance (NFPA, TJC, OSHA, CMS, etc.) in a healthcare environment

Salary Range:

Minimum 17.97/hour - Maximum 28.74/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
