Job Description

Join Baker Tilly's Development & Community Advisory (DCA) team as a Project Manager working on our Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship compliance team. You will be part of our larger DCA Development Advisory team, providing services such as energy and infrastructure advisory, project development, economic development, capital planning, and federal grant advisory, including clients like Tribes, Tribal Organizations, municipalities, non-profits, and for-profit entities. This role is integral to Baker Tilly’s services related to the Inflation Reduction Act (“IRA”) of 2022.

What You Will Do
  • Lead prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance efforts for projects seeking IRA credits.
  • Facilitate meetings, train stakeholders, respond to questions, and assist project stakeholders.
  • Advise clients on prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements during construction.
  • Build and manage relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Document and analyze processes to identify improvements.
  • Support project staff in daily service delivery.
  • Participate in coaching, mentoring, and firm-wide development programs.
  • Engage in social activities and team outings for work-life balance.
Successful Candidates Will Meet The Following Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, supply chain, engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of relevant consulting experience, including one year as a project manager.
  • Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Exceptional client service and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience in construction or labor compliance is helpful.

The salary range is $124,910 to $270,620, influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
