Utz Quality Foods - Pretzel Operator II

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a dedicated Pretzel Operator II to join our manufacturing team in Hanover, PA on the Weekend Night Shift (Thursday - Saturday, 5:25 PM - 5:25 AM).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate pretzel extruders, twisters, and dough mixers.
• Mix pretzel dough according to formulas and standards.
• Maintain dough quality and texture.
• Remove poor quality product from proof belt.
• Weigh raw pretzels every 30 minutes; record extruder speeds and pressure.
• Inspect machinery for wear; communicate issues to leadership.
• Work proactively in a cross-functional team.
• Identify and report mechanical issues.
• Assemble and dismantle extruder components; lift up to 60 lbs.
• Follow safety protocols and report safety concerns.
• Accurately log operation records and inventory data via handheld scanner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization from mixer to proofing belt.
• Communicate production updates to other shifts.
• Train new employees and promote safety practices.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
