Job description

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career-driven, and customer-focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Pretzel Operator I to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA on the Week Night Shift. This position works Sunday - Wednesday, 5:25 PM - 5:25 AM.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inspect packaged items for defects, including checking weight, verifying codes, dates, and pricing, and ensuring proper sealing.
  2. Report any conditions that could lead to contamination or safety concerns.
  3. Pack products into cartons, barrels, cans, and specialty containers, then place them onto skids or conveyors.
  4. Prepare items for production (e.g., cans, labels, trays, rework items).
  5. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment following OSHA, FDA, and GMP standards.
  6. Lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and report safety issues to the supervisor.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
